Pal Arinsal events

Pal Arinsal is much more than a ski resort, it is a centre for international sporting events throughout the year.

In winter, it hosts the ski mountaineering World Cup, the Comapedrosa Andorra, and in summer the MTB World Cup , which is organised every year. In addition, in 2024, the Pal bike park will become the venue for the World Mountain Bike Championships.

The South African, who resides in Andorra, completed a final strong performance to mark the end of his career in the World Championships.

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), in close collaboration with the Local Organising Committee and local authorities, has been compelled to adjust the competition schedule for tomorrow's events at the 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, in response to an extended storm with lightning forecast for tomorrow, Sunday, 1 September, starting in the early afternoon.

Two of the favorites start their path to the rainbow jersey on the right foot, while the rider from the Principality, Arnau Graslaub, qualifies for the Elite finals. American Asa Vermette and New Zealander Erice Van Leuven are crowned junior downhill world champions.
