How to get to Pal Arinsal
During the World Mountain Bike Championships week at Pal Arinsal, there will be several vehicle access restrictions. However, we have worked to facilitate your mobility and make your stay more comfortable.
Once in Andorra, you can reach La Massana and the World Championship venues in various ways. Remember that for this edition of the World Championships, it will be necessary to purchase a ticket to access any facility (cable car, bus, ski lifts, shuttles, etc.).
How to get by bus
The easiest and most comfortable option
- From Andorra la Vella, you can use the regular public transport lines L5 y L6 (free from Thursday to Sunday during the Championship week). The 'Centre Vila' stop is located in front of the Massana cable car, from which you can access all the Championship facilities and get around using the available shuttles.
- At the station, you can move between the venues.
- Shuttles: You will have different shuttles available to take you from one place to another. Check the schedules at the ticket offices.
- Paths: We have several completely flat and short paths (15 minutes) available so you can move around comfortably without having to stand in line. These are wooded and very scenic path.
How to get there by car
Vehicle access is only permitted up to the parish of La Massana or the village of Arinsal. You can park in various designated areas for the occasion and then take public transport or the Massana cable car to the station.
From the Erts roundabout to the station, no unauthorized vehicles will be allowed on the road. Access will be exclusive to authorized public transportation and station staff to ensure maximum security during the event.
How to get there by bike
You can bike up to Camí dels Menairons, where there is a designated parking area, located on the Pal road. It is a secured parking area.
Once at Caubella, you can move around on foot and use the paths designated for spectators, but biking is not allowed.
If you wish to use any transportation, you will need to purchase a ticket, which will also grant you access to the various ski lifts.
Where to park the motorhome
Motorhomes will have designated parking spaces available during the World Mountain Bike Championships week. In this case, we offer the Comallemple parking area, located in the Arinsal sector. Once parked, you can take the Orriols cable car, which will take you to the centre of the village and the parish of La Massana. Check lift schedules.
To access the Championship facilities, you can take the free L5 line, get off at 'Centre Vila,' and take the Massana cable car, or stop at the Erts roundabout and use the Championship public transport. Remember, you must have your World Championships ticket with you to use any of these transports.
